Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) at the University of Georgia Health Center is happy to announce our new referral database. This online system will allow UGA students, faculty, staff, and non-students to search for mental health providers in the Athens community. This searchable database contains names of therapists and psychiatrists near the UGA campus who have voluntarily submitted their information to the CAPS referral database. These resources are not affiliated with the University, Health Center, or CAPS – neither UGA, the Heath Center, nor CAPS guarantees the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided, and do not endorse any particular provider listed.

We do not endorse or take responsibility for services provided by individuals/agencies listed. You are strongly encouraged to verify information with the providers, including fees, insurance, etc. UGA CAPS does not supervise any of the individuals or agencies included in this database, and bears no responsibility for services provided by these resources.

PLEASE NOTE:

CAPS provides crisis services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for urgent situations. During regular business hours students may call CAPS at 706-542-2273 and speak with a clinician or walk into CAPS and be seen by a clinician. After-hours and on weekends or holidays, the CAPS on-call clinician may be reached by calling 706-542-2273 and selecting option 1.
